An application
You still own the trigger, the log, and the gate. The agent is a guest inside that shape.
An AI agent at Computer Education And Cybernetics (CEC) only gets tools you wrote on a slip. That is the practical application focus. “Autonomous” in a headline is not a lab rule.
Read a practice file. Search notes you already uploaded. Print a result to the screen.
Anything that looks like sending, paying, deleting, or writing outside the sandbox folder.

We do not open with a poster of agent brands. We open with one named tool, one result, and a look before the next call.
“Read this CSV” is a tool. “Be smart” is not. We write the name, the input, and the failure.
The agent does not chain ten calls because a blog said so. You watch the first result before the next.
A missing file or a refused permission must show on screen. Silent retries hide the lesson.
Think of four rooms, not a mystery box: a trigger, bound tools, a log, and a stop. If you cannot walk a mentor through those rooms, the application is not done.
1Trigger
A button, a form, or a file drop you can explain. Not a hidden cron that nobody owns.
2Bound tools
A short allow-list. If the tool is not on the slip, the agent does not get it.
3Log
What it tried, what the tool returned, what you approved. If you cannot replay it, it is unfinished.
4Stop
A human gate before anything leaves the room. Autonomous-sounding demos still stop here in our lab.
You will build a bounded agent on this path. We do not invent separate autonomous-agent or agent-development city URLs. The log and the stop are the project.
One goal a mentor can refuse in a minute. Not “run the office.” Autonomous-agent hype stays off this page.
Two or three allowed actions, written down. Agent-development work lives here—not on a clone URL.
Replay the run. Show the gate. If it emailed anyone, the project fails.
High AI use: a model may suggest the next tool—your slip and your stop still decide.

The beginner mistake we catch on purpose is letting a demo send mail, spend money, or delete files because it “looked sure.” We keep the human gate. A longer tool list will not replace it.
