A language you can debug—usually Python after counseling. Files, functions, errors you can read. AI may outline a function; you still run it twice on a clean folder.
Averages, splits, and “this row was wrong.” You do not need to be a research mathematician. You do need to refuse a score you cannot explain.
A question a table can answer, a held-out check, and a note on mistakes. That is ML on this map—not a zoo of algorithm names.
